When you first hear the word holiday, a million thoughts pop into your head. Christmas, Thanksgving, Channukah, New Years and many more. Holiday does have a double meaning. To go on a holiday also means to go on vacation. Everyone appreciates a good holiday right? There are so many opportunities; so many places in the world to choose from.

Holidays are always a blast whether your with your friends or your family. Why not document the great times you have to keep the moments forever? Keeping a digital camera ready at all times comes in handy. The one thing more fun than experiencing going to such beautiful places is sharing those experiences with others. Take tons and tons of pictures and prepare to show them off.

So what are you waiting for? Hop on a plane, get in a car or just take a walk somewhere. Take your friends or family and don’t forget that camera:)

I wonder if people realize how much one can affect another’s life. When you see someone walking down the hall, whether they are your best friend or a complete stranger- wave to them. You never know how much of an impact you could have had on that persons day. Take a minute from your day and pay attention to the people that surround you. Do they put in as much effort to be kind as you do?

Being nice to people shouldn’t be a goal or something you need to work hard at. It should come naturally. Being mean never helped anybody, never made anyone feel good about themselves. Think about how lucky you are to have the best friends that are with you every step you take. Some people don’t have that, some people don’t even have one friend. You could be that friend.

Everyone needs someone to tell their secrets to, cry with, laugh with and go through life’s course with. You could change someone’s life by just talking to them a little bit every day. Go the extra mile to make someone happy or do something nice for them that could brighten their day. Do it because you want to.

Laughing at someone, putting someone down or judging someone is never worth the time and effort. Living as a nice person with a big heart sounds a lot better than living as a mean person that doesn’t care about anyone doesn’t it? Smiling at someone or helping someone out should be a natural instinct. I think everyone has it in them to be able to love, and to love everybody. Why wouldn’t you want to put that love to use?

It may sound weird to you if you don’t like talking to strangers or broadening your group of friends. But imagine not having that group of friends, you’d want someone to hang out with or talk to every day. Change a life, be a friend and love.

Do you ever wonder what the point of all the confusion, heart break and betrayal we endure is? That maybe we don’t have to deal with it, maybe we just make life harder than it has to be because if life was simple and planned out, there would be nothing to learn? Throughout the course of your life your going to have to step out of your comfort zone, allow yourself to try new experiences, whether it’s switching schools or traveling to another country your going to have to do it someday.

Wherever you go there will be challenges, mean people, liars and rumors. Don’t believe everything you hear, if something is spread about you, the most important thing is that you know it isn’t true and the ones you love believe you. Don’t lie, don’t betray, don’t use people, everyone is a good person, whether they show it or not. There will always be someone that can bring out the best in you. Don’t disrespect people, what’s the point? You may never see some of these people again. Enjoy yourself, live your life as a happy person.

Broaden your horizons even if it is a little scary at first. You were put on this earth for a reason, and if you excel at what you do you will be remembered. Don’t create drama or lies to make life interesting, just live, and live the way you want to. Surround yourself with loving people that you know will stay by your side. Someday we’ll meet the person we get to fall in love with, someday you’ll finally figure out who your true friends are and someday you’ll discover who you are. Until then,hold your head up high, accept the mistakes you make and live with a full heart.
